Congratulations Shea!

The official Quakes site has yet to update their roster page (it’s the weekend so I’ll cut them some slack) but yesterday the Merc reported our Shea Salinas finally signed a contract with the club. The speedy midfielder and perpetual nice guy told the newspaper he’s relieved to finally get that sorted and now he will concentrate on “fighting for a starting position come April 3.” Brilliant - and good luck dude.
Don’t forget our boys take on Toronto today at 3pm. The online stream will be here. Also, the Carolina Cup streams are free and available to watch for 24 hours after each game.
And if you are in San Francisco this afternoon, some of us are getting together to watch USA v Honduras at the Mad Dog & The Fog at 4pm. If you’ve been paying attention to the dramz (and I know you have), this game could be a real tear jerker so you may as well try to get through it with an assload of alcohol.
I think thats it – in my neck of the woods, its supposed to start raining again (boo) but if you’re a bit luckier than me, I encourage you to spend some time today at the NATURE FIGHT!
