Go with what you know and all that, build trust through familiarity, etc etc etc. Anyways, that Jean-Phillipe whatshisname is our proven goal scorer. Historically, he was a goal scoring machine. He is an awesome coach with great judgment...both in terms of player personnel and tactical awareness. Offhand, I would rather have a coach who can make adjustments than someone who holds the same routine day after day...of course, it's hard to argue with BB's success with the US nats. In any case, we need a scorer...Kamara and Glinton are not quality by any stretch of the imagination. Maybe they were the best available, but they just aren't goalscorers. It's gotten results in the past. Don't freak out and go all Alexi Lalas on us yet. Also, I'd say about half his staff is maybe brand new? The boys need to gel both on and off the field. Who will bring out the fire and when, because I as a fan am bloody well anxious! The majority of my life was spent living in the south central valley and never once had I realized there was such a thing as a Bakersfield Brigade, neither would I have guessed they played soccer and didn't extinguish fires. Apparently I'm really slow to catch on to things. It took me two minutes to realize that was Gob in the back of that picture, two more minutes to realize it was Bob Loblaw jumping over an object that took me two more minutes to realize it was a shark that took me about five more minutes to realize he was re-enacting his original jumping-shark-happy-days moment. I shall announce once again: I am truly, truly lame. I am truly lame.
