Here are your Earthquakes odds and ends to get you through the rest of the week in anticipation for the MLS season to finally effin begin already.

* My two current favorite Quakes old and new are featured in different articles. Andrew Hush at MLSnet interviews James Riley while Frank MacDonald at MLSinSeattle talks to Ian Russell.

* Bigsoccer user Roblar updated that mind-blowing roster list (this time without the horrific html code) and also posted some very compelling arguments so to the rest of us: DON’T PANIC.

* The venue for watching MLS opening day on Saturday in the SF Bay is uncertain. So uhhhh… anyone know which bars around here are ordering Direct Kick? I’ll make their money back in booze alone.

And I’m out for the day. Please DO spend some time perusing the amazing year by year “History of Hip Hop” dj mixes over at The Rub but for f*cks sake DON’T apply to be a look-alike for Heidi Montag’s new fashion line.
