Reports are that we have signed Spaniard Mikel Arce from CD Lourdes. 6′3″, 24 years old, scored 20 goals in the Tercera (Third) Division in Spain last year. More info coming as it arrives.

P.S. I’m Spanish, so it thrills me to see someone from the motherland come back for the Black and Blue.

Oh well. Someone had to go. Unfortunate that we could only get a partial allocation out of it, but I imagine thats more than we could have gotten from OG Denton. This gets us aligned with roster requirements, but it wouldn’t surprise me if we are not quite done yet.

OK, that last one may not be true. But still.

First of all, SJ would have to go back to their 2005 season to get a full 30 games. They could do that, or perhaps more likely, just take the current PPG and expand it to 30 games worth of points. They would then be the #1 team.

After all the fanfare for Huckerby and Co., no talk about a 2-time Hermann Award runner-up? Am I missing something here?
