Nothin’ going on but the rent

I’ll be in San Jose today and tomorrow. Unfortunately, while I’m there, I won’t be able to do anything that might benefit this blog since its just a work trip. So no checking out Shawesome Stadium or chatting with a ticket rep at the Quakes’ offices. I’ll pretty much spend the entire time at a co-location facility moving a website from an old rack to a new one. Anyone reading this post is welcome to guess which website I’m referring to (and its not The Offside, sorry). Here’s a hint: its one of Time Magazine’s top sites of 2007.

On that note, I’m out for a few days. Seems the Quakes are still in LA and I still can’t find an article or story from someone at practice (besides Cannon’s blog). Hopefully that will change when the team returns north. Also, how cool would it be if Galaxy The Offside readers organize a meetup? Speaking of meetups, there’s a little one going on in the Bay as well. I linked to it in the past but its worth one more holler as the season approaches.

And here’s the latest installment of Song of the Week. This one is for the Mexican national team who put our boys through the ringer on Wednesday and are absolutely going to give us much hell in the future.
