My corporate presentation on the upcoming 2008 MLS season
By: Melissa | February 4th, 2008My assistants were working around the clock this weekend crunching numbers and fiddling with charts and graphs and such to bring you this report. I think it will be very informative.
Firstoff, here’s our prediction for the La Galaxy who now technically have three Designated Players on their roster yet haven’t made the playoffs in two years.

As for DC United, they continue to dominate, not by taking advantage of shady behind the scenes dealings or preferential treatment from MLS, but by merely finding the best cheap (by professional football standards) talent around.

Houston lost two key forwards and need to figure out how to remedy their new depth issues relatively quickly. Its possible the season could go either way for the back-to-back two time cup winners.

Chivas have their star goalie back, at least until the next transfer window opens. And with the recent signings up front, they may actually solve their depth issues this year.

As for the other teams, where are all our theoffisde MLS bloggers? Time to report for duty! Pre-season begins this week!

And lets not forget the San Jose Earthquakes, who return to MLS after a two year hiatus. Everyone in the Bay is straight chillin’ and our team will be rolling into the playoffs this year like we just rolled out of bed – just wait and see.

It’s really kind of the theme of your post. How could you not have included a soundtrack? I think a soundtrack piece is what’s missing in blogs these days.
